Hamilton Tournament June 5, 2005
This tournament was originally scheduled to be on Mississenewa but was moved to Hamilton by the tournament committee.
Congratulations to Greg Rekeweg for his win at Hamilton. Carl wanted it pretty bad but just couldn’t get that 5th fish! GOOD JOB Greg! Ten anglers brought 26 fish to the scales for a total of 57.83 pounds. It turned into a hot day, especially for Greg, but with a stiff wind out of the South to moderate the heat. The water temperature took a big jump over the last week and was around 73 degrees. Fish were caught on top water (Spook/Rico) (missed on buzz baits), Spinner baits, Carolina rigs, beavers and other plastics. Some were on beds and others were on weed edges (inside and out), some shallow and some deep. All in all, a pretty nice day with everyone catching fish and everybody home before the storms moved in.
